Liminal Spaces explores my everyday life through the lived memory of the objects occupying space in my room in time. The dualities of outside and inside are explored in more ways than one, as the viewer is an outsider and an insider to this daily routine

The Printing Process

The book was riso-printed using black, white, and orange inks on light blue construction paper. The handmade quality of riso with its imperfect printing and rough paper was embraced to embody the intimate nature of the contents of the book. The cover was printed on matte paper with an inkjet printer to give a diary like quality to the publication.

Adding AR to a Printed Book

After the printed artifact was complete, an AR component was added which added motion to the illustrations to highlight the passage of time, and also reveal missing dialogue and components that one would only hear if they were present in this room which furthered the outside-inside duality and acted as a door to experiencing the complete artifact.
